At Sharon School we support early intervention, providing extra help and resources to children who are at risk of not achieving their developmental milestones and academic potential. The Sharon Support Centre is totally integrated into the academic hours to maximize the child's prime learning period. It recognizes each child is unique and intervention is tailored to the strengths and weaknesses of each child in a smaller group setting, minimizing anxiety and stigmas in a supportive environment to ensure they have the tools they need to succeed.
The Leap-Frog program is used in the Nursery School and all Grade 1 children attend the Support Centre to complete this foundational program.
Thereafter, Grade Teachers elect children to be assisted in Mathematics and/or English (reading, spelling and written language) lessons using interactive methods of learning.
The Support Centre offers additional professional support services:
These additional professional services are privately charged to parents.
Twice a week, our facilities are used by S.A.M. (Singapore Advanced Mathematics) for lessons that are extension programs developed in Singapore for Mathematics and English.
These programs provide advanced learning opportunities for students who are ready for additional challenges in their academic journey.
Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed. Through personalized support, expert guidance, and a nurturing environment, the Sharon Support Centre ensures that each student has the tools and confidence they need to reach their full potential.
