At Sharon School, the Music Department plays a vibrant role in nurturing creativity, expression, and joy through music. Our pupils are encouraged to explore their musical talents while building confidence and a lifelong appreciation for the arts. Throughout the year, the department is abuzz with activity—from instrumental and vocal lessons to live performances and school-wide productions. Music is not only taught, but celebrated as a dynamic part of school life.
The first term marks an exciting start to the year, as our students participate in the National Institute of Allied Arts (NIAA) Eisteddfod. Pupils take part in vocal solos, instrumental solos, and choral performances.
In the second term, we host our annual Music Concert, a highly anticipated event that features a variety of solo acts and group performances. Audiences are treated to lively showcases from various musical groups.
The third term concludes with a whole-school musical production, a collaborative event involving all pupils and staff. This production is the highlight of the musical year, bringing together singing, acting, and dancing.
The Music Department continues to flourish with the support of our Administration and the School Board. We are proud of our students' achievements and remain committed to fostering a dynamic and inclusive musical environment at Sharon School.
