Nursery school

We aim to offer the children a wide range of worthwhile experiences, along with the enthusiasm and expertise to develop talents and cultivate an excitement in learning. We believe that young children respond to a challenge and we wish to encourage them to set their sights high and to be enterprising in all they tackle.

Festivals

The Jewish Festivals and Customs are observed at the school and those festivals which occur in each school term are celebrated by all the children in the school. Many of these Festivals are holy days and the Ministry of Education has given permission for Sharon School to be closed on these days.Every effort is made to publish a calendar of the Jewish holy days well in advance of the school year, so that all parents can plan around these dates.Since the Jewish calendar runs to September only in the Common Era calendar, these dates are usually available to you round about October of the preceding year. Not all festivals observed in the school have holidays attached to them.

Specialist Subjects

We offer a wide range of academic specialties creating a well-rounded student

Safety

It is important for your child’s safety that you use the entry and exit into the school car park correctly. Refer to our map below

Instructions to make your child’s drop off easier

  • STOP for zebra crossing pedestrians.
  • Rush Hour is from 7:00 am to 7:30 am
  • All parking during rush hour is south facing only.
  • The left is a drop-off zone for all parents. Please DO NOT park in this zone during rush hour and proceed as far east as possible before stopping
  • The car park design minimises reversing but if reversing, remember small children are particularly difficult to see.
  • Please be vigilant when driving in the car park. It would be an unfortunate and unnecessary tragedy to call an ambulance because one of our children has been involved in an accident.
  • Your cooperation with these instructions will assist greatly in minimising the risk.
